Riona Armesmith

Riona Armesmith has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Riona is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at magniX since May 2021. Prior to this, Riona worked at Rolls-Royce for several years in various roles. Riona held positions such as Head of Programmes Aviation Futures from April 2020 to May 2021, Chief Project Engineer Hybrid Electric Propulsion from April 2017 to April 2020, Project Lead - Transformation from September 2016 to April 2017, Technical Assistant - Transformation Team from January 2016 to September 2016, and Electrical Machines Engineer from September 2013 to December 2015. Before joining Rolls-Royce, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Cummins Generator Technologies from July 2012 to August 2013. Riona also gained valuable experience as an Electromagnetic Design Engineer Placement Student at Cummins Generator Technologies from September 2010 to September 2011.

Riona Armesmith completed their education in a chronological sequence. In 2008, they began their studies at De Montfort University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering, which they completed in 2012. Following this, Riona went on to enroll at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2018, where they pursued a degree in Global Leadership. Riona successfully completed their studies at this institution in 2020, specializing in the field of discovering and creating the future.
