Jacob Plagens

Jacob Plagens has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Jacob began their career as an Engineering Intern at Air Products and Chemicals in 2011 and 2012. Jacob then joined Hess Corporation in 2013 as an Engineering Intern before being promoted to Facilities Engineer and Project Engineer roles. In 2017, they moved to Sheridan Production Company, where they served as a Facilities Engineer and later as a Production Engineer. In 2019, they joined Ensign Natural Resources as a Senior Facilities Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Facilities Engineer at Magnolia Oil & Gas.

Jacob Plagens completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Pre-Engineering from Birmingham-Southern College in the years 2008 to 2011. Jacob then pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
