Jonathan Chan

Jonathan Chan has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Jonathan is currently working as a Creative Lead at MAGNOTHERM® since February 2022. Prior to this, they have worked as a Freelance Designer and Freelance Photographer at JCLC since June 2019. Jonathan also served as a Digital Creative Director at Galerie Renée Ziegler from April 2019 to July 2019. Before that, they gained experience as a Freelance Photographer at GIRL FIEND Magazine in April 2018.

Jonathan's earlier experiences include working as a Designer at ETH Zurich from September 2015 to September 2016, where they were responsible for web design, graphic design, and robot protection. Jonathan also worked as a Photographer at Wyss Zurich during the same period. Additionally, they served as a CNC Tutor at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW from September 2013 to September 2015. Finally, they worked as a Host at Art Basel in June 2014.

Jonathan Chan completed their education in a chronological order. In 2012 to 2015, they attended the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where they studied Industrial and Product Design. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued two concurrent degrees, a Master of Arts - MA in Global Innovation Design at the Royal College of Art and a Master of Science - MS in Global Innovation Design at Imperial College London. In 2017, they also participated in a residency program at Keio University, specializing in Media Design, and another residency at Pratt Institute, focusing on Industrial Design.
