Sven Hörschkes

Sven Hörschkes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the engineering and mining industry. Sven started their career as an R&D Engineer at Messer Griesheim in 1989. Sven then worked at Svedala Deutschland GmbH as a Sales Manager, Project Engineer, and Manager Systems from 1992 to 2001. In 2000, they joined Metso as a Manager in the Process EQ and Pump Department, and later became the Managing Director at Metso Minerals Deutschland GmbH from 2005 to 2007. Sven held various roles at Metso from 2007 to 2014, including Vice President PSS EMEA and Sales Manager Crushing & Screening Mining EMEA. In 2014, they became the Vice President Minerals & Sales Support Central Europe & ME at Metso Minerals Deutschland GmbH. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at FLSmidth in various roles, including Vice President Mining EMENA and Global Product Director Cone Crusher, Screens, Feeder & Feeder Breakers. Since 2023, they have been serving as the Head of Customer Solutions & Business Development at Magotteaux.

Sven Hörschkes obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree in Verfahrenstechnik from Fachhochschule Niederrhein from 1985 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended Berufsfachoberschule Krefeld from 1981 to 1983, where they studied as a physikalisch technischer Assistent.
