Alvaro S.

Alvaro S. is an experienced R&D Director at Magtel, specializing in the execution of proposals and projects within European renewable energy programs, with notable achievements in hydrogen and energy research. Previously, Alvaro held roles in project control and contract management at Ayesa and Abengoa, respectively, contributing to major projects such as the Jubail II desalination plant in Saudi Arabia and the Salalah Independent Water Project in Oman. Alvaro's career began in manufacturing sales engineering at Cunext Group, followed by roles in quality assurance and strategic consultancy. Alvaro holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and is currently a PhD candidate in Electrical and Automation Engineering for hybrid energy microgrids at Universidad de Córdoba.
