Gergely Takacs

Gergely Takacs has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries. Gergely began their career as a student at the University of Pecs, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they also worked as a trainee journalist at Kitekinto.hu in 2009. In 2007, they joined the Prime Minister's Cabinet as a political analyst until September 2010. Gergely also simultaneously worked as a senior editor at Politika.hu Political Science Periodical from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they joined the Public Administration in Hungary as a Senior Security Analyst from 2011 to July 2018. In 2018, they worked as an Information Security Expert at T-Systems Hungary Ltd. before transitioning to their current role as the Head of Corporate Security Competence Center at Telekom HU in January 2019.

Gergely Takacs has a diverse education history. Gergely obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Public Service, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they briefly attended the University of Public Service in 2020. In the same year, they also received training as an internal auditor for quality management systems (ISO 9001) from Magyar Szabványügyi Testület. In 2014, they completed a Master of Science degree in Security Expertise from the University of Public Service. Gergely also has a strong academic background in political science, energy security, energy policy, and international relations. Gergely studied at the University of Pécs from 2007 to 2014, where they were part of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School. Furthermore, they hold a Master's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Pécs, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. Additionally, they participated in various specialized training programs, including business continuity management (ISO 22301) at Fortix Academy in 2020, and information security (ISO 27001) as an internal auditor at Magyar Szabványügyi Testület in the same year.
