Angela Benavides

Angela Benavides has extensive work experience in software development, with a focus on programming in various languages and platforms. Angela has held senior roles in multiple companies, including Mahisoft Inc, Convercio Inc, OrionLabs, Heinsohn Business Technology, Open International Systems Corp., and Universidad del Valle.

At Mahisoft Inc, Angela worked as a Senior Software Engineer, leading software development projects using Java, Apex, Lightning Components, Heroku microservices, and JavaScript. Angela also handled code integration using GitHub and SFDX for CI/CD.

During their time at Convercio Inc, Angela served as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for software development using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, and jQuery. Angela worked in a team collaboration environment, following Agile methodologies (SCRUM).

At OrionLabs, Angela worked as a Freelance software developer, focusing on banking institutions. Angela utilized PL/SQL for software development and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.

Angela Benavides obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad del Valle (CO) between 2005 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Information Systems Technologist degree in Computer Engineering at the same institution between 2002 and 2005. In 2015, Angela enrolled at the University of Wyoming to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2017.

In terms of certifications, Angela obtained the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification from Salesforce in February 2019. Prior to that, in June 2018, they achieved the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification. Additionally, they obtained the MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications certification from Microsoft in November 2012, the Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert certification from Oracle in August 2012, and the MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access certification from Microsoft in March 2012.
