Dr. Alexander Ohlinger

Dr. Alexander Ohlinger has extensive experience in IT innovation, digitalization, and project management. Dr. Alexander currently serves as the Head of IT Innovation & Digitalization at MAHLE. Prior to this, Dr. Ohlinger worked as the Director of IT and Special Commissioner for Digitalization at Boysen Gruppe, where they were responsible for driving the company's digital transformation and innovation management. Dr. Alexander also has experience in strategy consulting and project leadership at Strategy& and Basycon Unternehmensberatung GmbH, respectively. Dr. Ohlinger's career includes founding and managing a software development company, as well as academic research at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Dr. Alexander initially started their career as a freelance programmer, system administrator, and webmaster, working on various projects including laboratory management software for a pharmaceutical company.

Dr. Alexander Ohlinger completed their Abitur at Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium Münster from 1995-2002. Dr. Alexander then pursued a Diplom degree in Physik at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2002-2007. Finally, they obtained their Promotion in Physik from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2008-2011.
