Robert Anstey

Robert Anstey has a varied work experience in the pharmaceutical and strategic planning sectors. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Mahzi Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Audira Labs LLC starting from October 2020. From March 2021 to July 2022, Robert held the position of SVP, Strategy, Investor Relations, & Chief of Staff at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., and prior to this role, they were the VP, Corporate Strategy & Investor Relations at the same company from July 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., Robert worked at Kallyope as the VP, Business Development from July 2016 to June 2019. Robert also spent some time at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. earlier in their career, where they held the position of Senior Director, Business Development from May 2015 to June 2016, and as Director, Strategic Planning & Investor Relations from September 2013 to May 2015.

Robert's experience also includes working as the Director of Strategic Planning at Shure Incorporated from April 2011 to August 2013, and as a Senior Consultant in Strategy & Operations at Deloitte Consulting from September 2010 to April 2011. Robert started their career at Agenus (formerly Antigenics Inc.) where they held various roles including Associate Director, Strategic Planning & Corporate Development from February 2006 to June 2009, and Strategic Planning & Corporate Development Analyst from May 2004 to February 2006.

Robert Anstey pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & International Business from NYU Stern School of Business. Robert attended the school from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they went on to Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2009 to 2010.
