Stephen Polan

Stephen Polan is a Senior Wealth Advisor, Managing Director at MAI, in Bethesda MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C.. Steve works with individuals, families and corporate executives providing investment advisory services and financial & tax counseling.

Prior to MAI, Steve was a principal at Prime Investment Advisors which he founded in 1991 having initially established a CPA practice in 1986 serving executives in the telecommunications industry with a focus on executive compensation and employee stock incentives. Steve began his tax career with Ernst & Young, working in their D.C. office in the late 1970s. Thereafter, Steve spent six years with MCI Communications Corporation in their tax department.

Steve is a native of Baltimore. He graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a MS in Tax from the University of Baltimore. He is a CPA, a Personal Financial Specialist and a Certified Financial Planner.
