Michael Wong

Michael Wong began their work experience in 2001 as a Software Design Engineer Intern at IBM Canada Ltd. Michael then joined Atheros Communications in 2003, where they held various roles including Systems Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Director of Customer Engagement and Applications Engineering, and Director of Business Development for the Asia Pacific Region. In 2008, they started working at Qualcomm and served as the Director of Business Development for the Asia Pacific Region and later as the Senior Director of Sales for China and Southeast Asia. During their time at Qualcomm, they managed sales teams, developed new revenue paths, and achieved revenue and share growth. In 2018, Wong became the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MaiCapital Limited and the CEO/Co-Founder of MaiBlocks Technology, a startup focused on real estate fractionalization and crowd investment over Blockchain.

Michael Wong has a strong educational background with multiple degrees in various fields. Michael completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy, Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Marketing from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program in 2014. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2001 to 2003. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering in Engineering Science - Computer Eng Option from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they also completed another Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University from 2001 to 2002.
