Faina Gelman-Nisanov M.D., Facog

Faina Gelman-Nisanov MD FACOG is a physician with extensive experience in gynecology, currently practicing at North Jersey Gynecology LLC since December 2022 and at Maiden Lane Medical, PLLC since January 2020. Faina's expertise encompasses a wide range of services including well woman care, PAP smears, family planning, and various surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. Prior experience includes a role at K&K OBGYN from July 2018 to October 2019, focusing on full scope obstetric and gynecologic care, and a residency at Montefiore Health System from July 2014 to June 2018, where Faina received training in both routine and complicated obstetrical care. Faina holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Stony Brook University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature was also earned. Previous teaching experiences include roles at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions and as a writing tutor at Stony Brook University.
