Martin Round

Martin Round is the lead member for environmental services at MAIDSTONE BOROUGH COUNCIL. Martin has previous experience working as a quality inspector for the Care Quality Commission and as a council member for Headcorn Parish Council. Martin is passionate about youth and education, the future of business and economic development, housing/planning, crime, transport/highways, and the environment.

Martin Round attended the University of Kent, where they received their PTTLLS, CTTLLS, and DTTLLS Cert Ed in Education. Martin also has an Honours degree in Social Sciences-Health, Psychology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Martin Round also has a certification from AEB/Central School of Counselling & Therapy in Certificate in Counselling Skills. Additionally, they have a certification from the Institute of Hospitality-qualifications gained as HCIMA in Member of the Institute of Hospitality-MIH. Lastly, they have a certification from the Royal Society for Public Health in Fellowship of the Royal Society for Public Health.

Their manager is David Burton, Leader of the Council & Conservative Group. They work with Steve Munford - Leader, Independent Group, Stanley Forecast - Councillor, and Paul Cooper - Lead Member for Planning & Infrastructure.
