Michael Bodekaer Jensen

Michael Bodekaer Jensen has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2011, they founded and became the CEO of Labster, an award-winning company focused on revolutionizing science and lab safety education through an advanced virtual laboratory simulator. In 2013, they founded Mailbird, a communication platform aiming to innovate communication methods for small and medium-sized businesses. As a founder and board member, Mailbird received recognition and awards from prestigious organizations. In 2009, Michael founded Livit Tech Ecosystem, a business ecosystem designed to support the growth and success of tech startups. Michael Bodekaer also served as a founder and board member of Livit. In 2019, they became a pledger and member of Founders Pledge, a global community of entrepreneurs committed to donating a portion of their proceeds to social causes. Additionally, Michael founded and served as an advisor for Project Getaway, an event and experience for entrepreneurs to expand their network and grow their businesses. Earlier in their career, they worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and held founder and CTO roles at Smartlaunch Systems, a leading gaming center management software manufacturer, and Boligplus Internet ApS, an online apartment listing service provider.

Michael Bodekaer Jensen began their educational journey by completing a Higher Commercial Examination at Lyngby Education Centre from 1997 to 2000. Michael Bodekaer then went on to study Finance and Mathematics, earning a Bsc degree from Copenhagen Business School between 2003 and 2006. Seeking to further their knowledge, they pursued a Master of Science in Finance and Strategic Management (FSM) from the same institution in 2006. In 2007, Michael attended Harvard University for a graduate program focused on Business Valuation, Mergers & Acquisitions. That same year, they also spent some time at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, although it is not specified if they pursued a degree or field of study there.
