James Thomas

James Thomas started their work experience in 2016 as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Christiana Care Health System. James then moved on to become a Nurse Manager at Nemours in 2017, where they provided leadership in a Pediatric Level I Trauma Center and Pediatric Emergency Department. In 2018, James Thomas worked as a Fellow at Leadership Delaware, Inc., a nonprofit leadership foundation. Currently, they are the Director of Nursing at Main Line Health since 2023.

James Thomas has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Wilmington University. James also has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Leadership in Health Systems Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Widener University. In addition to their degrees, James has obtained the certification of Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN®) from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN®) in May 2014.
