Michael Curtis

Michael Curtis, PhD, MBA, CDR (ret) is an accomplished industrial engineer and program manager with extensive experience in shipyard and marine operations. Currently serving as the Industrial Engineer Team Leader SIOP at Main Sail, LLC, since October 2022, Michael specializes in mapping shop processes for fabrication, repair, and overhaul activities. Previously, Michael held senior engineering and program management roles at CACI International Inc., Vigor, LLC, and Alion Science and Technology, with a focus on contract review, ship modernization, and team training. Michael also directed military education programs for the San Diego Community College District and provided technical leadership for various organizations supporting the U.S. Navy. Michael holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership and multiple degrees, including MBAs and a BS in Administration, along with a Certificate in Marine Engineering.
