Susan Dench

Susan Dench is an accomplished business professional and community leader with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Maine Policy Institute, Susan also contributes to the Portland Symphony Orchestra as a member of the President's Council. As the Founder of The Muddy Dog, Susan creates and sells charming drinkware and stationery products that highlight New England artistry. Past roles include serving as a New England Board Member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a Board Member for the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine, appointed by the Governor. Susan has authored "Connectworking™: The Savvy Woman's Guide To Turning Small Talk Into Big Business" and founded the Informed Women's Network to empower women on economic issues. With a background at GE, HP, and IDEXX, Susan's career began with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Northeastern University.
