Carmen Khoo

Carmen Khoo is an experienced research data analyst currently employed at the Maine Medical Center Research Institute since September 2021. Previously, Carmen held the position of Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University from January 2018 to May 2021, focusing on predicting the conversion risk of Alzheimer's Disease patients using regression models and deep learning. Prior roles include Research Associate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where statistical analysis on heart failure patients was performed, and various academic positions at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, including Teaching Assistant and Biostatistician. Carmen holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Cornell University, a Master of Science in Statistical Practice from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.
