Michelle Whittemore, MA, RHIA, CHPS has extensive experience in the field of Health Information Management. Michelle currently holds the role of Regional Director at MaineHealth, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, Michelle served as the Director of Health Information Management at Eastern Maine Medical Center from 2015 to 2016. During their tenure at Eastern Maine Medical Center, they also held roles as the Manager of Health Information Services and Shift Supervisor. Michelle also holds a high school diploma from Old Orchard Beach High School, which they acquired from 1995 to 1998. In terms of certifications, they are a Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) by AHIMA, obtained in 2015, and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), although details of the RHIA certification are not provided.
