Scott Ballard

Scott Ballard has extensive experience in the field of human resources, with their most recent role being the Chief People Officer at MaineHealth since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Shell Oil Company for several years, with roles including Executive Vice President Human Resources from 2017 to 2021 and VP HR US Operations from 2014 to 2017. Scott also held positions at Shell International Petroleum Company, Shell UK Exploration and Production, Shell Chemical Company, Shell Chemical LP, and Shell Oil Products US, where they gained valuable experience in various aspects of HR management. Before joining Shell, Ballard worked as an HR Manager at FMC Corporation.

Scott Ballard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics at Illinois State University from 1989 to 1993. Scott further pursued their education at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained an MBA in Human Resources from 1995 to 1997.
