Ade Omololu

Ade Omololu has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily focused on network planning, operations, and engineering. Ade worked at MainOne from 2015 to 2021, starting as an IP Operations Supervisor and progressing to roles such as IP Operations Manager and Head of Network Planning-Transmission and IP Network. At MainOne, they were responsible for designing and coordinating the evolution of the IP network, managing escalations and customer support, and ensuring compliance with operational processes. Prior to their time at MainOne, Ade worked at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd from 2007 to 2014, holding various positions including Datacom Engineer and Senior Datacom Engineer (Project) Team Lead. In these roles, they were responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IP network equipment and designing stable and resilient IP bearer networks.

Ade Omololu has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 1998, Ade attended Ondo State Polytechnic and obtained a National Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Later, from 2000 to 2005, Ade pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Lagos State University.

Ade's education journey continued in recent years. In 2018 to 2019, Ade attended the Yale School of Management to study Global Virtual Team strategies. Ade also attended the Lagos Business School at Pan-Atlantic University from 2018 to 2020, where they completed an Executive MBA program with a focus on Business Administration and Management.

Furthermore, Ade has obtained various certifications. In May 2020, Ade completed the "CISSP Cert Prep" courses on topics such as Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, and Security Architecture and Engineering, offered by LinkedIn. Ade also completed additional "CISSP Cert Prep" courses in June and August of 2020, emphasizing Identity and Access Management, Software Development Security, and Security Operations. Additionally, in May 2014, Ade earned a verified certificate for completing the course "An Introduction to Operations Management" offered by Coursera.
