Emmanuel Owusu

Emmanuel Owusu has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles and industries. Emmanuel started their career as an Audit Senior at BAAH & ASSOCIATES, CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS, where they led and supervised audit teams and prepared financial reports. Emmanuel then worked as a Financial/Management Accountant at HANKOFF MAZOE GHANA LTD, where they developed financial proposals and implemented accounting systems. Emmanuel also served as a Senior Accountant at BusyInternet, where they managed a team and coordinated financial reporting and analysis. Emmanuel further honed their skills as a Financial Head at MainOne Cable Company Limited, overseeing financial policy development, project financial modeling, and internal control assessment. Currently, Emmanuel is serving as the Chief Accountant at Barry Callebaut.

Emmanuel Owusu's education history begins in 2004 when they attended the University of Ghana and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, which they completed in 2006. In 2008, they enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, where they obtained their Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance by 2009.

Continuing their education, Emmanuel pursued further specialization in the finance field. In 2011, they joined the University of Ghana to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General, which they completed in 2013.

During the same period, from 2012 to 2013, Emmanuel also attended the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana, where they gained expertise in Taxation and earned the designation of Chartered Tax Consultant. Additionally, in 2012, they briefly enrolled in the Chartered Institute of Financial and Investment Analysts to acquire knowledge in Finance and investment and became a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Emmanuel's educational pursuits were not limited to accounting, finance, and taxation. In 2012, they joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and focused on the specialization of Oil and Gas Accounting and Finance, earning the Chartered Diplomat designation in this field.
