Julio Palacio

Julio is a seasoned technology and people leader with notable entrepreneurial and corporate experience having spent over 30 years leading organizations in technology, product management, business operations, software development, design, enterprise applications and IT strategy.

Most recently, Julio was the CPTO of Nexus Systems, a Mainsail portfolio company. Prior to joining Nexus, Julio was VP of Technology at Travelport, a global technology solutions provider for the travel industry. Before that, Julio was the CTO of eSecuritel Holdings LLC, an early Mainsail portfolio company sold to Brightstar Inc. Early on in his career, Julio was the General Manager of Emerging Technologies at Sprint Nextel in Atlanta after spending 12 years in various management and technical roles at Motorola.

Julio holds a BSc in Computer Science from Florida International University and has several registered patents to his name.
