Jeffrey Baker

Jeffrey Baker has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jeffrey started their career at Western Wireless Corporation in 2000, where they worked as a Telecommunications Cost Analyst, responsible for ensuring the financial efficiency of the wireless network. Jeffrey then moved on to Western Wireless as a Financial Analyst, where they provided analytical data for budgeting, expense control, and identifying operating trends.

In 2005, Jeffrey joined Washington Mutual as a Sr Financial Analyst, where they provided detailed analytical data for measuring and enhancing the strategy and accuracy of the retail bank construction budget. Jeffrey developed and managed annual operating and capital budgets, implemented forecasting and variance reporting for retail bank management, and improved budget accuracy for new store builds.

Jeffrey then joined Nokia in 2007, first as an Assistant Controller for T-Mobile, where they supported the sales team in maximizing financial opportunities while maintaining compliance standards. Jeffrey managed the operating budget and monthly forecast for T-Mobile sales, improved DSO performance, and managed accounting aspects of handset and service accruals. Jeffrey then moved on to become the Controller for North America Sales at Nokia, where they were responsible for the development, allocation, and compliance of the annual sales budget. Jeffrey synchronized seven major North American carriers and led cross-functional planning assessments to facilitate volume planning and revenue recognition.

In 2014, Jeffrey joined Microsoft as a Sr Channel Executive/Sales Operations Manager, where they facilitated business management between Microsoft and T-Mobile, developed and executed the business strategy, and led detailed forecasting models to maximize sales opportunities.

Finally, Jeffrey is currently working at MainStreet Property Group LLC as the VP of Finance, a role they started in 2019.

Jeffrey Baker earned a BABA degree in Finance from Seattle University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued an MBA degree in International Finance, also at Seattle University, from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Jeffrey obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2004.
