Walter Foltin

Walter Foltin has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the engineering and consulting industry. Since 2016, they have served as the Managing Director for MaintMaster Systems, leading their operations in Germany. Prior to this, from 2016 to the present, they were the Managing Director and Owner of frogics GmbH, a consulting firm specializing in M&A support and business development in the TIC sector.

From 2008 to 2016, Foltin held multiple positions at Exova METECH, including Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and later as the Managing Director. Before joining Exova METECH, they were the Managing Director of Bodycote Metech GmbH from 2006 to 2008 and of Saab Metech GmbH from 1999 to 2006.

Foltin began their career at Getriebebau Nord in 1996, where they served as the Sales Manager for Europe until 1999. Prior to this, they worked at Mannesmann Demag from 1990 to 1996, firstly as a Product Manager and then as an Area Sales Manager. Walter started their professional journey as a Design Engineer at Philips T&M from 1986 to 1990.

Walter Foltin pursued their education between the years 1982 to 1986 at Fachhochschule Kiel. During this period, they obtained a degree in Electronics and was awarded a Dipl.-Ing.
