Carlos Nadal Roig has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Carlos currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Personnel Administration at Majestic Resorts, where they oversee a large team of professionals and ensures compliance with labor regulations in Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
Prior to their current role, Carlos served as the HR Director at EMAYA, S.A. for over a decade. In this role, they were responsible for managing the human resources function for an organization with a staff of 1,500 people. Carlos was a member of the Management Committee and oversaw a team of 25 professionals.
Carlos also has experience as a Teacher at the Universitat de les Illes Balears and as an HR Director at TAYLOR WIMPEY ESPAÑA. In their role at TAYLOR WIMPEY ESPAÑA, they supported the achievement of strategic company objectives by ensuring an appropriately skilled and committed workforce.
Prior to these roles, Carlos worked as an HR Consultant at Auren Personas - Selección & Executive Search, where they carried out various HR field projects, including training and development and recruitment and selection processes. Carlos also worked as a Training Manager at Garden Hotels, where they developed training and development plans for the company and supported selection processes.
Carlos began their career as a Consultant at GOE.
Carlos Nadal Roig, SPHRi™ HRCI®, has a comprehensive education history in the field of Human Resources and related disciplines. Carlos attended IESE Business School in 2006, where they completed a program focused on HR management and strategy in People Management. In 2001, they enrolled in the Universitat de les Illes Balears and obtained a degree in Labour Relations, completing their studies in 2004.
Carlos also has a background in occupational health and safety. In 2002, they attended Ciss Praxis and obtained a Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (Advanced Technical Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention) with a specialization in Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
Further expanding their knowledge in the field of Human Resources, Carlos completed a Master's program in HR management at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros in 1996. Before that, they obtained a Titulación Superior en Turismo (Higher Degree in Tourism) with a specialization in Hotels from the Universitat de les Illes Balears in 1995. Carlos also holds a Degree in Tourism from the same university, which they earned in 1991.
Alongside their formal education, Carlos has pursued additional certifications to strengthen their expertise. In 2018, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Carlos also holds the Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification from WorldatWork, which they earned in 2006. Carlos participated in the Especialización Avanzada en Gestión de Recursos Humanos program offered by Hay Group in the same year. Additionally, they completed the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo "in company" (PDD) at Taylor Wimpey España in 2005.
