Julia Shapiro

Julia is an Executive Director and the Founder of MLA's Hire an Esquire. As an attorney, Julia saw that the way that people worked was changing—even in the slow to change legal industry. In 2013, she founded Hire an Esquire, a tech-enabled legal staffing concept whose proprietary online platform analyzes a candidate’s experience and expertise to best match them with contract and permanent positions at law firms and legal departments of all sizes. Hire an Esquire developed proprietary technology around analyzing and matching a candidate’s soft skills to jobs that proved to improve hiring outcomes while reducing bias.
