Michael Ascher

Michael Ascher, a Managing Director in the Midwest Partner Practice Group, focuses on building long-term relationships with partners and firms and counseling them to find the right fit for their practices. His 21 years of experience in real estate and transactional law makes him familiar with a wide breadth of practices and disciplines and allows him to provide sound advice in a variety of contexts to his law firm clients and candidates.

Mike began his real estate law career with Ross & Hardies (now part of McGuireWoods). He continued at Rudnick & Wolfe (now part of DLA Piper) before becoming associate general counsel at Brookdale Senior Living Inc. and then general counsel at a small real estate investment firm. He returned to private practice in 2008 and eventually became a partner at Gozdecki, Del Giudice, Americus and Farkas LLP before moving back in-house as corporate counsel and director, commercial real estate with Brunswick Corporation.
