Tim Powell-Jones

Tim Powell-Jones is an accomplished learning designer with extensive experience in immersive learning and instructional design across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal Immersive Learning Designer and Head of Learning Design at Make Real Ltd since February 2021, Tim previously led the instructional design team at The Creative Engagement Group, focusing on the development of innovative learning materials for maritime, corporate, and industrial clients. Tim's background includes roles at Pearson, where adaptive online courses were created for business and study skills, and INTO University Partnerships, which involved developing a large-scale online language support program. Additionally, experience as Programme Manager and Learning Technologies Coordinator at INTO University of East Anglia London Campus contributed to a comprehensive understanding of curriculum development and educational technology. Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Learning Technologies from Birkbeck, University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Modern History from The University of Manchester.
