Sylvia Thomas has extensive experience in CRM and loyalty, with their most recent role being the Director of Global CRM and Loyalty at MAC Cosmetics. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Consultant, specializing in CRM and loyalty, where they filled in for executives on extended leave at various companies, including FULLBEAUTY Brands, Mattel, Inc., and Gap Inc. Sylvia also served as the Vice President of Customer Loyalty at FULLBEAUTY Brands, where they developed targeted loyalty initiatives and re-branded their PLCC program. Before that, Sylvia held roles at American Express, Clinique, Towers Watson, Wachovia Securities, Mercer, and ExxonMobil, where they gained experience in loyalty partnerships, marketing, brand management, consulting, and analysis.
Sylvia Thomas has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University, earned between 1998 and 2002. Sylvia later pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Entrepreneurship at NYU Stern School of Business from 2006 to 2009. In 2023, Sylvia completed an Executive Education program in Leadership at The Wharton School.
