Piyush Kumar is a distinguished professional in the field of data platform engineering and personalization, currently serving as the VP, Head of Data Platform Engineering & Personalization at MakeMyTrip since January 2016. With a strong background in machine learning and personalized customer experiences, Piyush leads a horizontal DataPlatform Team that supports various lines of business within the company. Prior to this role, Piyush co-founded Advisor Healthcare, aiming to innovate the healthcare landscape in India with a virtual hospital platform. Piyush also held senior engineering positions at Droom Technology and MakeMyTrip, contributing to the development of advanced data systems and big data architectures. Early career experience includes a role as a Quality Engineer at NexTag. Piyush holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from Himachal Pradesh University.
