Anna Young is the CEO and Co-Founder of MakerHealth, a parent organization to the MakerNurse program. Anna has been with the company since May 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Fellow for the Startup Leadership Program in Boston starting in February 2021. Anna also served as the CEO and Co-Founder of Pop Up Labs, starting in February 2015. Anna has experience as a Lecturer and Co-Director at the Little Devices Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 2010. Anna worked as a Research & Development Officer for Innovations in International Health @ MIT from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they co-founded Salud del Sol, Inc in 2008 and worked as an Analyst for CFAR from 2008 to 2009. Anna also worked as a Development Consultant for Grupo Fenix from May 2008 to August 2008.
Anna Young obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Dayton between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, in 2006, they briefly studied Philosophy of Business Ethics and International Management at the University of Augsburg, but did not receive a degree in this field.
