Phil Smoller

Phil Smoller has a diverse work experience in sales and business development roles. Phil started their career as a Recruiter at Insight Global in 2009. Phil then worked as an Account Manager at Boston Engineering, where they successfully sold PTC products and services and grew training revenue by over 300%. From 2012 to 2013, Phil worked as a Business Development Manager at Mindteck, selling product development and engineering consulting services to new clients in the life science and medical device industries.

In 2013, Phil joined PTC as a Desktop Services Sales Rep, responsible for driving strategic training, software, and consulting campaigns with commercial accounts in the Western US. Phil then became a Territory Lead at PTC, focusing on identifying areas for improvement within engineering, manufacturing, and IT organizations and deploying effective rollout and adoption strategies for PTC software products.

From 2016 to 2018, Phil worked as an Account Executive at iGrafx, where they achieved 150% of quota within the first 6 months and consistently met revenue targets throughout their employment. Phil primarily focused on acquiring new business within the BPM and process improvement industry, working with clients in various sectors such as finance, high-tech, life sciences, telecom, and government.

Phil then worked as an Account Executive at MongoDB from 2019 to 2020, and as an Account Executive at Labelbox from 2020 to 2022. In these roles, they focused on managing accounts and driving sales within their respective companies.

Most recently, Phil joined Heartex in 2022 and Makersite in 2023 as an Enterprise Account Executive, where their responsibilities include managing enterprise accounts and driving sales.

Phil Smoller attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst from 2004 to 2008, studying at the Isenberg School of Management. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
