Laura Kraehling has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Graphic Designer at MAD Studios from June 2017 to August 2018. Following that, they worked as a Graphic Designer and Visual Designer at PharmAchieve Corporation Ltd. for three months in 2019. Laura then co-founded Virtuous Waste, a business focused on reducing plastic pollution through biodegradable packaging, after winning the 2019 World Vision Canada Social Innovation Challenge. Laura served as a Product Designer and Co-Founder for Virtuous Waste from June 2019 to December 2019. In 2019, Laura also worked as the Communications Coordinator for Creators Collective, promoting club events and artists within the Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business. In 2020, Laura worked as a UX/UI Designer at 125 Design St., where they used human-centered design and empathy to create user-friendly and brand-oriented websites. Currently, they are working at Makeship as a Digital Product Designer and Junior Product Manager.
From 2016 to 2020, Laura Kraehling attended the University of Waterloo. During this time, no degree or field of study was specified. In 2018, they also briefly studied Design and Business at Lancaster University. Additionally, in the same year, they studied German Studies at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.
