Lucas Moreira Guimarães

Lucas Moreira Guimarães has a solid work experience in the field of data science and technical leadership. Starting as an Engineering Researcher at FCA Latam, they then moved to Accenture, where they worked as a Digital Business Integration Analyst and later as a Data Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Data Science Technical Lead at Making Science. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various projects, ranging from developing OCR and RPA solutions to leading AI projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Lucas Moreira Guimarães holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, completed in 2015. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the same university but left it unfinished. Subsequently, in 2021, they completed a Master of Science in Deep Learning for Audio and Video Signal Processing at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Lucas also acquired various certifications in machine learning and related fields from institutions like Google and deeplearning.ai, further enhancing their education and skill set.
