Don Dancaster

Don Dancaster has worked in the IT industry since 1984, beginning their career as a Network Technician at Hallmark Electronics. In 1985, they began working at Chilton Corporation as a Network Operations Technician, where they monitored networks, developed bureau installation plans and implemented them, and provided customer service. The same year, they started working at Experian as a Technical Manager. In 1997, Don took on the role of Network Engineering Group Lead at General DataComm. Since 2013, Don has been a Pre-Sales Engineer at Mako Networks, providing major account and channel partner pre-sales support. At Mako Networks, they specialize in small site security, health record access, and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance solutions. Throughout their career, Don has had extensive experience in network operations and engineering, and has facilitated and coordinated network operations and engineering efforts to ensure minimal disruption to business processes.

Don Dancaster attended DeVry Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology (BSEET).
