William Inman

Program Manager for Operations and Exercises at Makwa Global, LLC

William Inman has extensive experience in the fields of crisis and consequence management, security, law enforcement, and operations management, with a career spanning over two decades. William has held various positions in the U.S. Department of State across multiple geographies, including Baghdad, Mumbai, and Djibouti. Notably, they were the Deputy Director of the Office of Mobile Security Deployments where they led a team of 90 Diplomatic Security Special Agents and support specialists responsible for providing crisis response and support to U.S. diplomatic facilities around the world. Additionally, they served as the Supervisory Special Agent of Director Security and Law Enforcement Training, where they led training programs for Diplomatic Security Special Agents and developed a five-year strategic plan for delivering advanced skills training. William has also held various program manager roles, most recently at Makwa Global, LLC and Seneca Global Services, LLC, where they managed the development and delivery of complex global crisis management exercises and training, as well as crisis and consequence management training for organizations. Prior to entering government service, Inman served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, where they gained experience in law enforcement and security operations.

William Inman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio, Television, and Film from Moody College of Communication, which was obtained from 1987 until 1990. William then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Texas McCombs School of Business from 1991 to 1993. In 2016 to 2017, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Security Studies (Counterterrorism) from National Defense University.
