Demetri Sampas

Demetri Sampas is the Chief Executive Officer of Mal-ID, a startup focused on developing AI technology for the early detection of visibly detectable cancers, a role commenced in November 2016. In addition to this position, Demetri serves as the Organist and Music Director at West Parish Church since October 2019 and has been an organ recitalist since June 2005, performing across various venues in the United States. Demetri previously worked as a Strategic Planning Advisor for the Organ Historical Society from February 2012 to July 2014, where assistance was provided in rebranding and developing educational programs. Additionally, Demetri served as Technical Director at KCNS 26 from January 2010 to June 2011, responsible for operating studio equipment and planning an overhaul of the studio. Volunteer experience includes working as Event Technical Director for Voyagers Inc. from July 2005 to June 2008, overseeing lighting and sound for theatrical events. Demetri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business from Pacific Lutheran University, earned from 2009 to 2013.
