Jaron Acker has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Jaron started their career as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at GE Healthcare (formerly Datex-Ohmeda) in 2000. Jaron then gained further experience as a Biomedical/Systems Engineer at Datex-Ohmeda (now GE Healthcare) from 2002 to 2005. Jaron then joined GE Healthcare as a Lead Biomedical/Systems Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Jaron later became the Associate Director of Medical Device Engineering at IKARIA, Inc., which is now a part of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, from 2007 to 2015. Currently, they are working as the Director of Medical Device Marketing at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, starting in 2016.
Jaron Acker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. Jaron then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same university between 2002 and 2004. Later, in 2008, Jaron pursued an MBA specializing in General Management at the Wisconsin School of Business, completing it in 2011.
