Colleen Kawahara

Colleen Kawahara has extensive experience in high-level administrative and communications roles, currently serving as Chief of Staff to the President and Administrative Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Willamette University since March 2012. Responsibilities include supporting institutional strategic priorities, managing communication between the President's Office and internal departments, and overseeing the planning and execution of significant events. Previous positions encompass roles as Director of the Office of the President and Director of Special Projects and Events at Willamette University, as well as Communications Manager at the YWCA of Greater Portland and Communications/Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Vancouver. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
