John Helmink

John Helmink has extensive experience in equipment maintenance and IT solutions management, currently serving as Manager EMD Europe at Mammoet since July 2015, overseeing maintenance operations across 11 workshops for a diverse range of heavy machinery. Previously, as Manager of Business Applications & Digital Innovations at Mammoet, John ensured that over 6000 employees had access to reliable IT systems, and managed multiple teams of IT professionals. John’s earlier career at KLM included roles such as Operations Performance Manager, where performance management was applied to global customer contact centers, and various analytical and managerial roles that drove process improvements and successful project implementations. Educational qualifications include dual MSc degrees in Economics and Asia Studies from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by studies at the National University of Singapore.
