Barry Fitzgerald

Barry Fitzgerald is an experienced professional in technology and finance, currently serving as Co-Head of Front-office Engineering at Man Group since November 2018. In this role, Barry also leads GLG, MSL, and Risk technology, as well as Risk Technology. Previous positions include Research Technologist at AHL from August 2011 to November 2018, and Ecommerce Architect at Man Investments from April 2008 to August 2011, where responsibilities focused on ecommerce operations. In earlier career stages, Barry held roles as Senior Java Developer at Channel 4 and Senior Consultant - Technology at Deloitte, progressing through the graduate scheme while working with various clients, including Transport for London and the BBC. Barry's educational background includes a Higher Diploma in Mathematical Modelling from University College Cork and a BA Mod in Computational Physics from Trinity College Dublin.
