Jon Bannister

Jon Bannister is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data engineering and software development. Currently serving as Staff Engineer and Head of Data Platform at Man Group since February 2020, Jon leads initiatives in data science engineering and data pipeline construction. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Man AHL, focusing on scalable data onboarding, and Software Engineer at KCG Holdings, where complex applications were developed for ETF trading. Jon's background also includes various positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, addressing FX technology needs and creating tailored solutions for traders. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and foundational internships, Jon demonstrates a strong technical skill set and problem-solving capabilities across diverse environments.
