Lars Bassie

Lars Bassie is currently an Equity Portfolio Manager at ASR. Prior to this, they worked as an Allocation & Selection Manager at ACTIAM N.V. (formerly SNS Asset Management N.V.) from April 2013 to February 2016. In this role, they were responsible for making strategic and tactical investment decisions, as well as conducting searches for, implementing, and monitoring external managers. Before that, they completed a corporate finance internship at Deloitte Nederland from May to July 2011.

Lars Bassie pursued a bachelor's degree in business administration/bedrijfskunde/business management/bedrijfsmanagement from Tilburg University. Lars then continued their education by completing a VWO in economie & maatschappij from Rietveld lyceum. Afterwards, they obtained their CFA from the CFA Institute. Lars then completed a master's degree in finance from Universiteit van Tilburg. Lastly, they received certification from the CFA Institute in the CFA Institute PL Program 5-Year Milestone and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

They work with Mark van Engelen - Fund & External Management, Marco Lavooi - COO, Asset, and Daniel Van Dierendonck - Fixed Income. Their manager is Jack Julicher, Asset & Investment.
