Alex Telford

Alex Telford has a strong background in performance analysis in the football industry. Alex began their career as an intern at Newcastle United Football Club, where they gained hands-on experience working with both academy and first team squads. After their internship, Telford joined West Bromwich Albion Football Club as an Academy Performance Analyst, specializing in analyzing player performance. Alex then moved to Middlesbrough FC, where they held multiple roles including Academy Performance Analyst, Senior Academy Performance Analyst, and Lead Academy Performance Analyst. During this time, Telford developed their skills and expertise in analyzing and improving player performance.

Telford also worked at The Football Association as a Women's Pathway Analyst Consultant, where they provided analysis and guidance to support the development of women's football. Currently, they are working as a PDP Performance Analyst at Manchester United, where they continue to use their knowledge and expertise to analyze and improve player performance. Overall, Telford's experience demonstrates their commitment and passion for performance analysis in the football industry.

Alex Telford pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Sports Science with Coaching from Northumbria University. Alex attended the university from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Alex obtained certifications from Prozone Sports Ltd. Alex completed the STATS - Level 2 - Physical Analysis certification in 2016 and the STATS - Level 1 - An Introduction to Performance Analysis certification in 2015.
