Chris Hallsworth started their work experience in 2002 as an Audit Senior at BDO UK LLP. Chris then moved on to KPMG UK in 2007, where they worked as a Tax Manager until 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Tax at Manchester United.
Chris Hallsworth attended Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School from 1986 to 1993. During this time, there is no specific mention of a degree or field of study. Following their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Nottingham from 1993 to 1996, majoring in Biochemistry and Chemistry.
In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained the certification of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in June 2005. Chris further achieved the title of Chartered tax advisor from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in June 2006.
