Francesca van Ark

Francesca van Ark has had an extensive work experience. Francesca'smost recent role was as the COO Strategy, Planning and Reporting Manager (Operations) at Manchester United starting in February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Venue Strategy and Planning Executive at Manchester United from February 2018 to February 2023. In this role, they supported the delivery of strategic evaluations and projects across various departments and also assisted the Venue Marketing department. Prior to their time at Manchester United, Francesca worked as a Mid-weight Planner at Momentum Worldwide from February 2016 to January 2018. Francesca also has experience as a Strategic Planner at Stein IAS from April 2014 to February 2016, an Advertising Sales Intern at Hearst Magazines UK from June 2013 to March 2014, a BBC Radio Manchester Work Experience at BBC from October 2012 to November 2012, a Communications Team Work Experience at The Environment Agency in September 2012, and a Freelance Blogger at K2L Marketing in August 2012. Furthermore, they had work experience at NWN Media Ltd from December 2009 to August 2012, where they worked alongside the Chief Reporter at the Whitchurch Herald. Francesca also had work experience/freelance positions at Stein IAS from July 2011 to July 2012, where they worked with the copywriting team and developed slogans and blog entries for clients, and at Adfero in June 2012, where they completed a two-week internship focused on search engine optimization.

Francesca van Ark completed their secondary education at Bishop Heber High School from 2003 to 2007. Francesca earned their GCSE's including Art and studied subjects such as Product Design, English Language, English Literature, Geography, and Maths during this time. After that, Francesca attended Bishop Heber Sixth Form from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued A-Levels, but the field of study is unknown. Finally, Francesca completed their higher education at Leeds Beckett University from 2009 to 2012. Francesca obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Journalism.
