Jacob Ogden MSc, MSyI, CUBS has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jacob is currently employed at Manchester United as a Team Protective Security member. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Jado Group, where they oversaw a private security consultancy and expert witness practice. Jacob'sresponsibilities included working with Olympic and Commonwealth delegations, UK government services, corporate nationals and multinationals, exhibition and sporting venues, executives, celebrities, and high-profile individuals.

Jacob also held various positions at Commonwealth Games England and British Olympic Association. At Commonwealth Games England, they worked as an International Security Liason Officer and later as the Security Liason Officer - Operational Response Lead for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, at the British Olympic Association, they served as an International Security Liason Officer & Team GB Protection member and as the Team GB Security Lead - Performance Lodge for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Before their work in security and sports, Jacob was a Senior Lecturer & Director of Rugby at Moulton College, where they focused on sports science and served as the Head of the Performance & Excellence program. Jacob also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Northampton.

Additionally, Jacob has experience as an Enforcement Agent - Bailiff at Equita Limited and as the Head of Sport & Senior Lecturer at Northampton College. Jacob also played rugby professionally for Northampton Saints and Salford Red Devils Rugby League Club.

Jacob Ogden has a diverse education history. From 2000 to 2002, they attended the University of Northampton and obtained a Post Compulsory Certificate in Higher & Further Education (Cert.Ed). During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Sports Management from the University of Northampton, which they completed in 2004. Later, from 2015 to 2017, Jacob studied Law at Cardiff University and received a CUBS Certificate in Civil & Criminal law from the School of Law & Politics. In 2017, they enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University and earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Security Management from the School of Justice Studies | Centre for Advanced Policing in 2020. Additionally, currently, Jacob is pursuing a Cert in Forensic Psychology from The Open University.

Besides their formal education, Jacob has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. These include becoming an MSyI (Member of the Security Institute) from The Security Institute in April 2022, a certification in Forensic Psychology from The Open University in May 2020, as well as certifications in Expert Witness Civil & Criminal Law from Bond Solon Training in July 2017 and Managing Safely from IOSH in July 2015. Furthermore, Jacob holds various professional certifications related to security and protection, such as Certified Member (CM) from ASIS International and Close Protection Officer from the Security Industry Authority. Jacob has also received training in various areas such as first aid, conflict management, health & safety, physical intervention skills, and training and development. The institutions where these certifications were obtained include Highfield, City & Guilds, OCR, and City & Guilds.
