Rob Skaggs

Rob Skaggs is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience in web application development and systems architecture. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at Google since February 2014, Rob has contributed to web-based software for Managed Defense, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence initiatives. Previous roles include Chief Architect at GeoPay, Inc., where Rob led the development of a mobile money product, and various positions at companies such as OSE-IRTW, Pivotal Information Technology, and AOL. Rob's career also includes significant contributions to system operations and network administration at organizations like SunRocket, GE Information Services, and IBM Federal Systems. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
