Job Description 

The Head of Sales is responsible for the growth of our global accounts segment within Mangopay. Key responsibilities for this role include developing complex sales strategies to drive new business revenue with Mangopays largest multinational prospects. This role requires someone with a proven track record of successful enterprise sales within a complex solution selling and competitive environment. Ultimately, this ultra high-level performer is expected to increase Mangopays relevance with some of the most influential platforms and marketplaces in the globe.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include owning the overall sales cycle whilst developing a growing pipeline of value-based revenue opportunities and fostering new strategic initiatives.

Owning, negotiating and closing large contracts for Mangopay whilst collaborating across the key business stakeholders on each deal.
The ideal candidate will possess an ability to think strategically about new business models, product integrations, and technical challenges as well as build and convey compelling value propositions and drive innovation with customers.

You will also manage a team of sales executives within the region.

Qualifications

  • You are a strategic negotiator and strong communicator. You are able to manage and lead time-sensitive projects within your own environment
  • +10 years of prior experience in an enterprise sales hunter role selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial service. Plus if you have experience in the payments industry with platforms and/or marketplaces. 
  • You're a proven deal closer and strong communicator
  • You’ll help us defining the sales strategy for your geographic area
  • Ability to combine complex information into a critical message which is needed to inform executive decision making quickly and effectively
  • You’re a team leader, you will act as a coach and a mentor for your sales executive team
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a high growth organization
  • Superior relationship building and exceptional consultative sales skills with a passion and hunger to win at all costs
  • Results oriented, analytical, self-motivated and a “hands on” person with proven ability to meet objectives and targets.
  • Recognizes and understands critical cultural approaches to doing business globally. 
  • Executive presentation skills; including in-person, written, and verbal.
